Rodman was employed as a midnight janitor at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport following his high school graduation. He subsequently had an abrupt growth spurt, reaching heights of 6 feet 7 inches (2.01 meters). Despite feeling uncomfortable, he decided to give basketball another shot.
